APG response to COVID-19

The APG Co-Chairs regretfully announce that, due to the extraordinary circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic emergency, the annual meeting scheduled for July in Dhaka, Bangladesh is unable to proceed.

Over 520 senior delegates from 46 jurisdictions and 13 international organisations came together in Canberra, Australia during the week of 18 – 23 August 2019 to convene the APG’s 22nd annual meeting and annual technical assistance forum.

The government of Australia will host the 2019 APG annual meeting and technical assistance forum at Hotel Realm in Canberra, Australia from 18 to 23 August 2019.

Following an extensive world-wide recruitment involving an independent executive search firm and selection process, the APG Co-Chairs are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms Erin Lubowicz to the role of Deputy Executive Secretary commencing 1 August 2019.

Over 520 senior delegates from 49 countries and 12 international organisations came together in Kathmandu, Nepal during the week of 21 to 27 July 2018 to convene the APG’s 21st annual meeting and annual technical assistance forum.

The APG held its 20th annual meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 17 to 21 July 2017. The meeting was chaired by the APG co-chairs, Mr H Amarathunga, Director of the Sri Lanka Financial Intelligence Unit and Deputy Commissioner Leanne Close of the Australian Federal Police.

The APG Annual Report 2015-2016, with independently audited financial statements and incorporating the outcomes of the 19th Annual Meeting and Technical Assistance and Training Forum in San Diego, United States in September 2016 is now available.
