APG’s collaboration with Nepal to fast-track efforts to be removed from the ICRG list

A ground-breaking law reform project will give authorities across the Pacific stronger investigation powers and better tools to target criminal proceeds and assets, after model legislation was recently developed.

The partnership between the APG and the Government of Canada has been instrumental in strengthening regional efforts to combat money laundering and terrorist financing across the Asia-Pacific region.

Bhutan prepares for its mutual evaluation with the APG

Bringing together 30 participants from seven member jurisdictions and two supporting observers, the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) successfully convened its second Regional Mutual Evaluation Preparation (R-MEP) Workshop in the Philippines from 21 to 23 April 2026.

The Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) Secretariat, in partnership with the World Bank and the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, has completed a joint implementation support visit to Tuvalu. This marks the APG’s first visit to Tuvalu since its became an APG member in 2023.
