The APG has issued an amended public statement in relation to Vanuatu to reflect the adoption of its third round mutual evaluation report and Vanuatu's referral by APG members to the FATF's International Cooperation Review Group.

The FATF Asia/Pacific Regional Review Group onsite visit to Pakistan was held from 3-4 December 2014 in Islamabad.

A ceremony was held in Dili, Timor-Leste on 26 September 2014 to mark the official opening of Timor-Leste’s Financial Intelligence Unit by Banco Central Timor-Leste.

From 2 – 4 September Cambodia hosted bilateral consultations between Indonesia and Cambodia on targeted financial sanctions to combat terrorism.

APG members considered Japan’s progress against its 2008 mutual evaluation at the APG’s 17th Annual Meeting in Macao, China. On 16 July 2014 the APG agreed to adopt the FATF’s June 2014 public statement on Japan.

The APG Secretariat met with senior officials in Thimphu, Bhutan on 6 May 2014.

The APG conducted a workshop in Thimphu, Bhutan on 7 and 8 May 2014 to inform AML/CFT-related Ministries, agencies, as well as the private sector, on the content of the 2012 FATF standards and assessment methodology.

H.E. Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation for Timor-Leste, Mr. José Luís Guterres, officially opened an international conference on AML/CFT issues held in Dili, Timor-Leste from 10 to 14 March 2014

An APG team met with Samoa’s Deputy Prime Minister (and acting Prime Minister), and other Ministers and senior officials in Apia on 26 and 27 February 2014 to discuss the status of Samoa’s Counter-Terrorism Bill.
