The APG jointly conducted assessor training with the Eurasian Group on Combating Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism (EAG) from 13-17 August 2018 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

A recently published FATF/APG report aims to raise awareness about the type of financial information that can identify human trafficking for sexual exploitation or forced labour.

The APG and AUSTRAC conducted a joint pre Mutual Evaluation (ME) training workshop for all key competent authorities in the Philippines to assist in their preparations for the upcoming APG 3rd round evaluation in 2018/19.

Brunei Darussalam hosted an APG Regional Pre-Mutual Evaluation workshop in Bandar Seri Begawan from 12 to 14 February 2018.

The APG held its first Fintech event in Seoul from 5 to 7 December 2017. The workshop was hosted by the Korea FIU and KEB Hana Bank provided the venue..

The APG and The Financial Action Task Force Training and Research Institute (FATF-TREIN) hosted the 2017 Joint Typologies and Capacity Building Workshop between 13 and 16 November 2017 in Busan, Korea.
