The onsite visit for Brunei Darussalam’s 3rd APG Mutual Evaluation was conducted from 7 to 18 November 2022 in Bandar Seri Begawan.

From 25-27 October 2022, the APG Secretariat conducted a Pre-ME assistance visit to Dili to support Timor-Leste’s preparations for its upcoming 2023-24 Mutual Evaluation.

The first APG mutual evaluation onsite visit since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic has taken place with the onsite visit for Lao PDR’s 2nd APG Mutual Evaluation held from 12 September 2022 to 23 September 2022 in Vientiane.

In July 2022, the APG membership adopted the February 2022 Follow Up Reports of Cambodia and Myanmar. Both of these reports considered requests for re-ratings of technical compliance.

The APG held an assessor training workshop for experts from across the region from 22 – 26 August 2022.

The 2022 APG Typologies Report includes a focus chapter on IUU fishing, summaries of typologies research projects completed by the FATF and FSRBs, effects of COVID-19 related ML and TF trends and Proliferation Financing Methods & Trends.

Associate Assistant Deputy Minister Mr Julien Brazeau of Canada's Department of Finance in Ottawa was formally appointed as APG Co-Chair on 28 July 2022. See the "About" section of this website under "APG Co-Chairs" for further information.

The APG concludes its 2022 Annual Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

In July 2022, the APG membership adopted the February 2022 Follow Up Reports of Mongolia, Pakistan and the Philippines. The Follow Up Reports are now available for download.
