The APG is a regional multi-lateral organisation. The strategic mission of the APG is to combat money laundering and the financing of terrorism/proliferation in the Asia/Pacific region through:
(1) implementation of the international anti-money laundering and countering the financing of terrorism/proliferation (AML/CFT) standards by APG members; and
(2) participation in the international AML/CFT standard-setting process.
To achieve this mission, the APG adopts Annual Business Plans pursuant to a Strategic Plan. The Business Plan outlines the major tasks and performance targets for each year consistent with the APG’s strategic mission. Annual performance reporting is reflected in the APG’s Annual Report Against the Business Plan.
The Business Plan and the Budget Paper (the financial basis of this plan) are the APG’s core operating documents for each year.
