All APG Secretariat staff attended a planning forum from 18-20 March 2025 in Bowral, Australia. With considerable shifts occurring in the Secretariat’s operating environment, they took the opportunity to reflect on the purpose and priorities of the APG Secretariat, understand the drivers of change as well as contribute to evolving the Secretariat by reshaping the operating model and building flexible capability.

The APG Secretariat participated in the launch event of the new FATF report on ‘Detecting, Disrupting, and Investigating Online Child Sexual Exploitation’ in London on 13 March 2025.

The APG Secretariat, with support from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, is pleased to announce the publication of a Shipping Registries and PF Risk Factsheet.

The onsite visit of the mutual evaluation (ME) of the Maldives was held in Malé, Maldives from 12 to 23 January 2025, representing a key milestone in the ME process.

APG Secretariat held a SIP visit to Majuro in February to support the RMI AML/CFT Council to develop a priority implementation plan in response to the recommended actions in the 2024 ME report, thank you to virtual inputs from Fiji and Cook Islands.

Two of the APG Secretariat PACD team visited Nauru for the SIP in January. The visit included highly productive meetings with senior officials and the private sector to plan a way forward after their ME report was adopted at the 2024 AM in Abu Dhabi.

Niue reached an important milestone in their global fourth round mutual evaluation journey last week with the conclusion of their onsite visit.
