The Korea FIU hosted the APG's 4th assessor training workshop using the 2013 FATF assessment methodology in Seoul, Korea in the week of 18-22 August, 2014. 39 participants from 18 members and one observer organisation attended the training.

The APG VTC Reporting Policy, endorsed by the APG Membership during the APG Annual Meeting in July 2014 is now available for download.

The 2014 APG/FATF Joint Experts’ Meeting on Typologies will be hosted by the Thai government in Bangkok, Thailand, from 24-28 November.

The 2015 APG Annual Meeting and Technical Assistance and Training Forum will be held in Auckland, New Zealand in the week of 13-17 July 2015.

The 2014 APG Yearly Typologies Report is produced by the APG Typologies Working Group. The report includes observations on Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing techniques and methods drawn from across the APG region.

APG members considered Japan’s progress against its 2008 mutual evaluation at the APG’s 17th Annual Meeting in Macao, China. On 16 July 2014 the APG agreed to adopt the FATF’s June 2014 public statement on Japan.

The 17th Annual Meeting of the APG was held in Macao, China from 14 to 18 July 2014 and was attended by almost 400 delegates from all 41 APG members.

Under the Russian Presidency, the 3rd FATF Plenary meeting of FATF-XXV was held on 25-27 June 2014.

The APG Secretariat met with senior officials in Thimphu, Bhutan on 6 May 2014.
